Your formulas are your company's confidential product information. This page is the short version of how we handle them. The privacy policy is the full one, and it is what we are held to.
Encryption and hosting
Encrypted in transit and at rest, operated in the United States.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our hosting providers.
The service is operated from the United States, and information is processed and stored in the United States.
AI
Your data is not used to train AI models.
We do not use your data to train AI models.
When you use an AI feature, the content you choose to process is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the output you asked for, and is used only to fulfill that request. We use AI providers under agreements that prohibit training their models on your content.
Access and incidents
Access to production is limited to what operating the service needs.
Access to production systems and your workspace content is limited to what is needed to operate and support the service.
No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
Your data, and leaving
You can export your data, including after you stop paying for Brix.
You can access and update your account information in the service, and you can export your workspace data using the built-in export features.
After your subscription ends, you have a 30-day window to export that data, after which we may delete it from the production service, subject to routine backup cycles and legal retention requirements.
Providers
Who else touches your data.
We share information only with the service providers that run Brix, each bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
